UsagePeek AI is built to be usable with a keyboard, a screen reader, larger text and high-contrast settings. Our target is WCAG 2.1 Level AA, applied to desktop software following the W3C WCAG2ICT guidance.
Accessibility Conformance Report (VPAT®)
Our Accessibility Conformance Report follows the VPAT® 2.5Rev template (Revised Section 508 edition, WCAG 2.1 Level A and AA) and covers UsagePeek AI for Windows, version 1.16.2.

What is supported
- Keyboard. The main window, Settings and the Usage statistics window work fully with the keyboard: Tab and Shift+Tab move between controls, Enter or Space activates them, and the spend chart is read day by day with the arrow keys, Home and End. While the app is running, launching it again from the Start menu opens the main window.
- Global shortcuts. Ctrl+Shift+U shows or hides the floating widget and Ctrl+Shift+M changes its design. Both can be remapped in Settings.
- Screen readers. Every control has an accessible name, expandable sections and toggles report their state, chart days and trend curves have text alternatives, and the interface language is announced correctly in all 10 supported languages.
- Text size. Zoom the main and statistics windows with Ctrl + and Ctrl − (or Ctrl + mouse wheel); Ctrl+0 resets. Content reflows at 200% instead of being cut off. The app also follows Windows display scaling.
- Contrast and color. All text meets at least 4.5:1 contrast in all six themes, including two light themes. Usage levels are shown as numbers, not by color alone. Windows contrast themes are supported.
- Motion. Animations are short and turn off when Windows “Animation effects” is disabled.
Known limitations
- Moving and resizing the optional floating widget requires a mouse, and the widget has no zoom of its own. Everything it shows is also available in the main window.
- The per-model totals in the Usage statistics window are not exposed to screen readers as a table.
- An invalid global shortcut is ignored without a warning.
- The Claude sign-in page is served by claude.ai, and purchase dialogs by the Microsoft Store; their accessibility is outside our control.
The full list, criterion by criterion, is in the ACR.
