Privacy Policy

UsagePeek AI (“the app”, “we”) is a desktop application for Windows that displays your Claude.ai usage. This policy explains what the app accesses and how your data is handled. The short version: your data stays on your device — we don’t collect it, store it, or send it to any server of ours.

What the app accesses

Your Claude.ai session token. When you sign in through the app’s built-in login window, the resulting session token is stored locally in the Windows Credential Manager on your computer. It is used solely to call Claude’s own usage endpoints so the app can show your session, weekly and per-model usage.
Local settings. Your preferences (theme, layout, widget position, resume-queue entries, language) are stored in a local settings file on your device.

What the app does not do

It does not read, access, or transmit your Claude chats, projects, or files.
It contains no analytics, tracking, or telemetry of any kind.
It makes no network connections other than to claude.ai (to read your usage).
It does not send any of your data to us or to any third party.

Data we collect

None. We (the developer) do not operate any server that receives your data, and we have no access to your session token, your usage, or your preferences. Everything the app stores stays on your device and can be removed by signing out or uninstalling the app.

Third-party services

Anthropic (Claude.ai). The app connects to claude.ai on your behalf using your own session. Your use of Claude is governed by Anthropic’s own terms and privacy policy.
Microsoft Store. If you install the app from the Microsoft Store, purchase, licensing, and trial status are handled by Microsoft under Microsoft’s privacy policy. We do not receive your payment information.

Children’s privacy

The app is a general-purpose developer/productivity utility and is not directed at children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update the effective date above and post the new version on this page.
